Hi, I'm Phoebe! ✨
You might also know me as harmonbee, or Finnbar
I do a handful of different things:
- By day, I'm a professional software engineer who is particularly interested in compilers and programming languages.
- I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Warwick (UK). My research focused on programming languages for reactive programs and how to optimise the programs created for them. I also taught on the Compiler Design and Functional Programming modules alongside my research. You can find my academic work on my Warwick webpage.
- I'm a keen musician who plays trombone and a handful of other instruments, and composes sometimes. See my music work.
- I also design games, and sometimes write for them too! See my games work.
- I'm a long-time Netrunner player who runs tournaments in the Birmingham (UK) area. I'm also the lead developer of un-derachievers, my local meta's in-development unset.
